Amber with a very relaxed and content wombat Rocco. We love all our critters!
Hi! We’re the Neille Family
We are wildlife Rescuers, Carers, and Rehabilitators located in country Victoria, About 2.5 hours from Melbourne, Australia.
Our Hobby Farm sits on a 35 acre block. Day to day our lives are pretty normal – school runs, shift work, dinner time, pets and family, but in amongst everything we also care for injured and orphaned wildlife.
At home, we have a unique collection of native animals like orphaned wombats Kevin, Betty and Stevo, and the youngest ‘furry potato’ wombat on the farm Sandy – she still has round the clock feeds and lives inside the house with us while she’s so young and fragile.
Outside in some of the larger spaces we have emu’s Ernie, Timmy and his baby chook ‘Miles’, along with Giselle – who choses violence everyday!
We have kangaroos and wallabies, deer, guinea pigs, and often we have bird visitors from raptors, nightjars, magpies, currawong, owls, galahs, cockatoo’s and more. There’s never a dull moment on the farm, and we do our best to share our lives, and the lives of our native wildlife in care with you across our social media channels.
Come along and join our journey. We’d love to have you see just how special and unique the Australian wildlife truly is. Onya Legends!
